Selling or moving

Sell or move your static caravan.

The park's offer is rarely the only option, and moving to a park that charges less can save thousands over a few years. Tell us about your caravan and what you want to do, and we will come back to you.

How this works. We are putting together a small panel of independent buyers and specialist caravan movers. When we can help with your caravan, we will email you first. We never pass your details to anyone without asking you, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. It is free.

See our privacy notice for how we store this.

Before you sell or move

  • Read your agreement. First refusal, commission, buyer approval and any disconnection fee all change what you walk away with.
  • Know the age limit. The fewer years a caravan has left on a pitch, the less a buyer will pay. See how long static caravans last.
  • Check the new park first. If you are moving, get the new park's acceptance and site fee in writing before booking transport. See moving a static caravan.
  • Get more than one offer. A park buy-back or part exchange is quick, but an independent offer tells you what it is worth.

Common questions

How do I sell my static caravan?

Read the selling clause in your park agreement first: whether the park has first refusal, what commission it takes and whether it must approve the buyer. Then get the park's offer in writing and at least one independent offer, so you know what the park's figure is worth. Our value calculator gives a rough starting figure.

Can I move my static caravan to another park?

Only if the new park agrees. Many parks will not take a caravan from elsewhere, or only one under a certain age. Get the new park's agreement and site fee in writing before you book transport. Our moving guide lists the parks that have told us whether they take caravans from other parks.
